We’ve reviewed a few gaming accessories from GameSir such as the T4 Mini Controller and the X2 Controller and now the brand has announced the new X3 Type-C Cooled Mobile Gaming Controller which, as the name suggests, features a built-in cooler to help facilitate those long gaming sessions.

Weighing in at 270g, the X3 Type-C Controller will work with smartphones running Android 9 or above and boasts a rotatable built-in USB Type-C port that slots directly into your phone as well as a USB-C port on the Peltier cooler. Compatible with games from services such as Xbox Game Pass, Amazon Luna, GeForce Now, and Stadia, the X3 Controller can also be used with Steam Link and PS Remote Play.

As you might expect, the built-in cooler has its own dynamic RGB lighting system. You can customize the controls with the high- or low-rise thumbstick, two sets of D-Pads, and the concave and convex thumbstick caps that are included in the box.

GameSir has launched the X3 Type-C Cooled Mobile Controller on Indiegogo where it’s possible to claim a controller for $70 instead of the proposed $99 RRP. Shipping is scheduled to begin during June, which isn’t too long away from now and we should also get one in for review in the coming weeks.
